Katrina Elliot
After receiving her Associates Degree in Communications in Media Arts, Katrina attended Cazenovia College in New York to work on her BFA in Fashion Design. While there she was selected by the head of the department and Dean of the college to attend classes abroad in Canterbury, England. Here, she spent much of her time developing her 5 piece Senior Collection, inspired by Victorian detail and modern twists. The following Winter she spent time interning at Jill Bates, re-creating vintage designer gowns and helping to create a new line of scarves under the name Chale. After her intern period expired she was immediately hired, working personally with Jill on all projects.
Katrina is currently working on developing collections with Black Bird Attic in New York, as well as creating exciting, sustainable fashion with CounterCouture in Minneapolis, MN. In her spare time, Katrina is currently creating a new line of one of a kind clothing, which is currently in development under the name Atelier Eliut. She is inspired by over-the-top detailing from the Baroque period, eccentric and foreign street fashions, and high-tech science fiction.
