ABOUT

CounterCouture is a fashion brand representing innovation and collaboration. The company was founded in 2009 after the owner’s personal dilemma on what to do with her quickly accumulating bridesmaid dress collection. CounterCouture fills a unique niche in the eco-fashion industry through the construction of locally designed, upscale dresses transformed from old bridesmaid gowns. What once was drab and unusable, is now something sexy and modern.

CounterCouture collaborates with and spotlights local creative partners in aims to be a marketing / public relations generator for those involved in developing this concept and growing the business, as well as help increase their own presence in the art and fashion world. As a company, we also implement as many sustainable business practices as possible, from operations to production. CounterCouture strives to represent forward thinking in fashion by supporting and evolving eco-fashion ideals. Because fashion, too, must evolve.
