Counter Couture

CounterCouture officially celebrated its soft launch with a mock runway show and champagne mixer at the MNfashion Pop-Up Holiday Boutique in Gaviidae Common on December 3rd. Guests were able to shop the boutique which features designs from over 30 local designers while sampling hors de’ voures, some donated by local grass fed beef farm Moonstone.

Model, Erica Milner, showcased two of the brands dresses as a mingling live mannequin. Five CounterCouture supporters, and good sports, strutted their stuff for a ugly dress walk-off which was judged by designers Kristy Janigo and Mitsurugi, as well as MNfashion Executive Director Anna Lee.

The winner of the walk-off, June Meyerhoff, was awarded a gift card for local green retailer, Twin Cities Green. This launch event proved that this brand is here to have a little fun while shaking things up.
